How we work
We have employees across the country and two offices in Horsens and Copenhagen. We work with a clear purpose, close collaboration and a high degree of trust in each other to accomplish our common goals. As part of creating the best conditions for a sustainable everyday life, we will soon implement a 4-days workweek.
What we offer
Focus on well-being
We take our culture statement very seriously, as we are convinced that we need to take care of ourselves before we can take care of the planet. We offer a high degree of flexibility in the form of remote work, allowing everyone to work in the way that suits them. We also help each other create good work habits, such as reminding each other to take breaks and making time to focus.
Opportunity to have an impact
We work to make a difference and that is reflected in everything we do. By difference, we mean that we strive to create Impact and Influence in Danish companies, contributing to a sustainable future for all generations.
4-days workweek
We want to create a sustainable everyday life for everyone, where there is time to recharge and time for the things that create meaning and value for each of us. As part of this, we have chosen to experiment with a 4-days workweek. We expect full implementation during 2023!
Room for 'FFT'
Because we are an evolving organization, we leave plenty of room for 'FFT', a concept inspired by Brené Brown. 'FFT' stands for 'Fucking First Time' and is a strategy to implement something for the first time instead of avoiding the situation in fear of failing. There is always full support when someone calls a 'FFT' at SustainX.
Social gatherings
We believe it is important to feel socially good in the workplace. As we are spread across two offices in the country, we make a point of getting together for team events every 3 months to share the state of the business, gather all our good ideas and do something social together. In addition to team events we regularly organize Friday bars, paddle tournaments etc.
Celebrating success
Celebrating our successes - both the small successes in everyday life, but also the big goals we set for ourselves - is a big part of the SustainX culture. When we meet for team events, we celebrate each other with champagne and toast to the strong teamwork that is crucial to our success.

Team event
Every year in August, SustainX is participation in the Climate People’s Meeting. Here is a short video from this year’s Climate People’s Meeting, where we also took the opportunity to celebrate a number of champagne goals. These are an important part of the SustainX culture, where we celebrate our successes, together.
